I started my minority owned business in 2016. At that time, I bought and renovated residential homes. Some of these properties I retained for investment and still manage. Having my own frustrations of dealing with unqualified and subpar contractors drove me to establish my own network of trusted partners. My aim is to help business owners with difficult projects that may require renovations, repair, special equipment, project management, and consulting. Without proper communication between the general contractor, subcontractors and client no construction project can succeed. Arawak thrives in communication and working together to achieve this success.

I implement all construction planning which includes creating and managing the construction schedule, writing and submitting estimates that outlines the project’s cost, labor, and schedules.
Jobsite management, organizing and managing the site including licensing and renting equipment such as provide ready -mixed concrete.
Hiring subcontractors and managing their quality.
Ensure regulatory compliance by vetting all subcontractors are trained, certified, and following state and federal regulations.
Managing and inspecting all required work permits and licenses before starting the project.
Monitoring and managing subcontractors to ensure they’re operating on schedule and in accordance with quality and safety standards.
Assist with cleanup and demolition of all jobs started and completed.
When required obtain all required work permits and licenses before starting the project.
Specific work I have done in the past and currently include the following:
Slab pouring, foundation pouring, concrete slab construction/repair, dry well installation/repair, tipping and hard landscapes.
